Martia is 4.6 billion years old. Her name means warlike, of Mars.

COSMOS is a series of paintings which explores the dimension of space, depicting the planets, stars, moon, sun, galaxies and light as women. The Space Cowgirls, Eartha, Martia and Julia, are the personification of the respective planets, Earth, Mars and Jupiter. Ancient and full of powerful mass and energy, their bodies are free-falling. Pulled by the force of gravity strapped within their star-spangled bras, they attract and orbit each other as they travel the space highway through infinite time.
