“It’s a resting day on the sofa today after a fun evening in Emergency. Thanks so much to my lady in waiting who took me to hospital. You are absolutely amazeboobs!!! Rugrat 1 had vomiting gastro at home and couldn’t be left. It never rains but it pours.

The rocks have been giving me grief over the last few days and after a really uncomfortable day at work I actually thought they might explode!!! I was imagining an almighty KABOOM and a fine shower of boob dust all over the north eastern burbs. Now that would have topped the town festival fireworks for sure.

The good news is that after blood tests they can say that there is no infection. The bad news is I can’t take this pulsing harness off. I talked to Dr. Plastic and it could be swollen tissue. Maybe all that housework did the dirty? Who knows? I feel like I’m back in the bad old days of early recovery. So as there are two people in the wars today I’ve drawn the feisty feminine French fighting legend, Jeanne d’Arc/Joan of Arc (played by reigning queen of kick-butt, Milla Jovovich) for the strength to keep soldiering on.

And if I was drinking my way through this long protracted battle (which I am but not today) I’d slowly sip a glass of Real Slow Robotaki Remix by Miami Horror.”
